Klaret Energy is an independent company, formed to identify and bring forward low impact hydro electric power projects in Scotland.
The principals of Klaret Energy have significant direct experience of sustainable development and renewable energy. They are Donald Young, an ecologist who was formerly chief executive, Central Scotland Countryside Trust; Tim Birley, a recognised expert on sustainable development and former Head of Rural Affairs at the Scottish Office; and Ian McNeill, a lawyer with extensive experience of power generation projects (conventional and renewable) in the UK and overseas.
Together they bring experience, expertise and a commitment to a greener more sustainable Scotland.
